A very strong 5 Towns team kept the stafford defender very busy and with the weather not helping a extremley valiant effort from a very inexperienced Stafford Squad.

The first match of the u16 girls 2008/9 campaign was a hard fought battle,

even though the girls played a full game with only nine players they were the stronger team playing great football.

The game was an end to end contest of epic speed with the girls suffering with a constant hole in midfield,

several times they just could not get the fininshing to great period of play. An extreme valiant effort,
