Wheaton Aston Juniors 0 Stafford Rangers Juniors XI 6

With a strong start it wasn't long before Rangers took the lead when Matt Weaver headed the ball home.Rangers kept there shape well as they pushed forward and doubled there lead with Jamie Wood neatly slotting the ball passed the approaching keeper.Two more goals followed before the break from Ellis Liggins and Ben Hartshorne.

In the second half Aston played some decent football and had a couple of shots at goal but the Rangers defence soon stamped out there authority which enabled the Rangers front men to score two further goals, Domminic McCormack scoring his first goal ever in the black and white stripes and Jamie Wood adding another to his tally.

A great team performance where everyone played an important part inthe victory.

Sunday 20th April

Topps 2000 2 Stafford Rangers Juniors 2

Rangers took an early lead with a long range shot from Ellis Liggins.Topps hit back with a free kick on the edge of the area which was smartly converted.Rangers forced the pressure onto Topps going close several times untill eventually Ellis Liggins got his second of the day to give Rangers the advantage.As the game was coming to a close Topps grabbed an equaliser to earn a point.

Stafford Rangers Juniors 4 Rugeley Rangers 1

Stafford looked strong against Rugeley running out 4 - 1 winners and creating numerous other chances. The pick of the goals was a Matt Weaver header into the top corner.

A good start from Rangers and it wasn,t long before they took the lead with a Ben Heartshorne opener.Juniors keeper kept the game looking respectful pulling off several good saves.In the second half Rangers doubled their lead with another Ben Heartshorne goal which was put away with ease.Juniors got one back late on but Rangers looked the class act and took the points.

Stafford Town 0 Stafford Rangers Juniors 3

Jamie Wood gave Rangers the ideal start with a well worked goal. In the second half Rangers football at times was fantastic with lots of quick passing movements and it wasn,t long before they went two up when Ellis Liggins slotted one home.Down the right wing ollie Gibbs looked impressive for Rangers and took advantage of the space he was given scoring at the near post to wrap up a great weekends football for Stafford Rangers Juniors.

Stone Ajax 0 Stafford Rangers Juniors 3

Rangers started strongly with a Jamie Wood goal in the opening two minutes and continued this impressive performance with some breath taking football.It didn't take long before Liam Buckley put Rangers two up.

In the second half Stone's keeper pulled off save after save to try and keep them in the game but Mat Weaver had different ideas and put Rangers three up to round off a fantastic performance.

Stafford Town Panthers 0 Stafford Rangers Juniors 3

Again Rangers were impressive with goals from Ellis Liggins and Ben Heartshorne in the first half.

Ellis Liggins scored again in the second half rounding off a good days work from Rangers winning three goals to nil. A good team performance from all of Stafford Rangers Juniors players.

 Berkswich 1 Stafford Rangers Juniors 0

Berkswich played good football early on passing the ball around making Stafford work hard,eventually Berkswich broke through the Stafford defence and took the lead.Going into the second half Stafford tried to respond with some good work and good chances at goal,but Berkswich held on to take the points.

Eccleshall Eagles 4 Stafford Rangers Juniors 0

It was a bad day at the office for Stafford going down 4 goals to 0 to a good Eccleshall outfit who took their goals well.Stafford tried to battle back but it just wasn't going to happen today.

Stafford Rangers Juniors 2 Stafford Town 2

Rangers dictated the first half with numerous efforts at goal but couldn,t hit the back of the net,and it looked like it was going to be one of those days when Town broke away and took the lead.In the second half Jamie Wood and Ben Heartshorne scored giving Rangers the lead.But Town battled back scoring near the end of the match to earn themselves a point.

Rangers took the lead within the first minuet with a through ball which Jamie Wood slotted home.It didn,t take to long before Rangers doubled there lead with another Jamie Wood goal taking them in at half time two up.Early in the second half Panthers got one back which took Rangers by suprise who then seemed to step up a gear and goals from Liam Buckley(2) Ben Heartshorne (2) and Ellis Liggins(1) wrapped up a comfortable win.

Stafford Rangers Juniors 3 Stafford Juniors 1

It took Rangers a while to settle today,but after 10 minuets they found there feet producing quality passing football.Rangers had a number of chances at goal and were unlucky to go in at half time all square.

In the second half it was Stafford Juniors who took the lead early on,when Rangers put the ball in there own net.

This woke Rangers up and Charlie Billingham put them level with a superb left footed strike from outside the area.

Ellis Liggins put Rangers in the lead and it was Liam Buckley who finished Juniors off making the final score 3 1.

Rangers had some great efforts at goal in the first half but the score was all even at the break.The introduction of Ben Heartshorne for Rangers in the second half saw him score a solo effort and help Rangers turn up a gear.Jamie Wood converted two more goals for Rangers sealing a comfortable victory.

Stafford Rangers Juniors 0 Berkswich 0

The first half saw Rangers create most of the chances and were the better side.Berkswich's keeper was in fine form saving shots from Ellis Liggins and Jamie Wood.

In the second half Berkswitch took the game to Stafford with several clear chances at goal but Alex Hickey the Rangers Keeper was up to them with seaveral gret saves.At the final whistle it ended all square with no goals but the score does not reflect on how entertaining this game was.

6th January 2008

Eccleshall Eagles 1 Stafford Rangers Juniors 2

   Stafford had a good start back after the Christmas break taking an early lead from a long range effort by Ellis Liggins.Stafford kept up the pressure and this was rewarded when Ben Heartshorne broke free in the box and doubled Staffords lead.In the second half Eccleshall pulled one back but Staffords team effort was to much for them.

Rugeley Rangers 0 Stafford Rangers Juniors 3

  Another good performance from Stafford saw Ollie Gibbs score his first goal of the season netting from close range.In the second half Stafford pushed forward scoring two more goals from Ben Heartshorne and Ellis Ligins.Rugeley played good attacking football at times,it took Staffords defence to work hard together to break these attacks down.

A great performance from Stafford in bad conditions.

Stafford took control early on with a Matt Weaver header from close range.More goals followed Jamie Wood netting two and Ben Heartshorne netting another two sent Stafford into a 5-0 half time lead.In the second half Ben Heartshorne scored three more taking his total to 5 in the match and Stafford to an 8-0 victory.

Stafford Rangers Juniors 1 A C Dominoes 0

The weather conditions were horrendous and getting worse but both sides battled on to produce some decent football.Stafford ran out 1-0 winners with a well worked goal from Jamie Wood.A C Dominoes goalkeeper had a tremendous game and had to be on top form to keep the score down to 1.

Stone Ajax 3 Stafford Rangers Juniors Under 10s 0

Stone went one up after an early attack on the Stafford goal,but Stafford didn,t drop there heads and played some good football.

In the second half Stone proved they wanted to win that little bit more scoring twice again.

Stafford Rangers Juniors Under 10s 4 Penkridge Juniors 1

Penkridge took the lead early on,but this woke Stafford up and goals from Jamie Wood and Jagon Edge put them in front at half time.

In the second half Stafford played with great spirit netting two more goals both scored by Ben Heartshorne

Stafford Rangers Juniors 10 Brocton Falcon Blues 0

It was a perfect start for Stafford Rangers Juniors Under 10s

as they played their first two games in the the Shield League.They beat Stafford Town 5-1,and then went on to dominate against Brocton Falcon Blues with a convincing 10-0 victory.It was a great team performance.
