The team wish Josh Johnson 'JJ' every success with Gnosall Colts and we hope you enjoy your football-but don't beat us in the Cup!

Don't forget the U13s will be a 'Guard of Honour' for the Rangers match this Saturday 13th Sept v Blyth Spartans.

Photos will hopefully be taken on 21st September at the home match v Eccleshall . (If everyone is available).

Hopefully we will take new Team photos for the season 2008-2009 at our first League match on 7th September. Please bring both shirts as I need a photo to send to our sponsor 'Kerrygold'. I can then update the website photos.

We have been entered by Mid Staffs League to represent them in the Under 13 Tesco Cup. No more details at present.

Welcome to Will Davis who is our latest signing for the season 2008-2009 we are pleased to welcome you and your family to the team and hope that you will enjoy being part of Stafford Rangers U13s.

We have two new team members for season 2008-2009 who have already contributed to our sucessful summer tournaments. Welcome to Harry Wightman & Tom Vaughan.

As current champions we would like to enter 2 teams for this competition- so please let Ger/Sue /Elaine your availability ASAP.

The tour final payments will need to be in at the end of February.

4,957 Tesco Sports Vouchers were collected by the Club who especially thanked the U12s who collected over 2,500 of them!

Many thanks to Carl Ravenhall & Kerrygold for the sponsorship of our sweatshirts, hats & drinks bottles. Carl has also sponsored his son Pat's U9s Stafford Rangers team. Very much appreciated.

Many thanks for the Tesco sports vouchers - we collected over 2,000 as a team. However the Club still haven't quite reached their target so hand them in still.

 Elaine is organising the Christmas Party at Tamworth Snowdome for everyone to go tobogganing. The date is Wednesday 19th December at 6.45pm or 7.15pm tbc.

Tour has been provisionally booked for May Bank Holiday weekend -May 2nd - 5th at Woolacombe Bay. A £25 / person deposit will be required by 7th November.

STAFFORD TOWN TOURNAMENT - SUNDAY 20TH MAY

We have entered two teams into this competition (which we won last year). Please can you all check and see who is available and let me know. This will be held at Rowley Park.

JIMMY MULLEN 5-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT

A Stafford Rangers team will be playing at Molineux - Wolves on Thursday 26th April- KO 7.00pm. Entry will be only through the turnstile of Block '8' in the Billy Wright Stand from 6.15pm onwards .

There will be no entry fee for spectators, so come and support the lads.

This is because one of the under 11 teams won six out of seven matches and drew the other in saturday's (March 17) annual Jimmy Mullen tournament.Opposition came from Tipton,Smethwick,Hednesford,Wolverhampton and last winners Warstones.The final will be a keenly contested affair at the Molineux because it will be against Hednesford Town who won the other group stage.The indoor 5-a-side tounament played at Aldersley Stadium produced fast and slick football with the rebound boards always keeping the ball in play.

COMPETITIONS

A list of competitions that we have entered during the next few months will be available shortly - we will need to find out availabilty of players, plus find new players to try out.

JIMMY MULLEN COMPETITION - 17TH MARCH 2007

We have entered two teams for this 5-a-side indoor competition at Aldersley Leisure Village. I will sort out times and directions as soon as I have the details. Sandwiches may well be required.

TESCO VOUCHER FOOTBALL NETS & EQUIPMENT

The goal nets, cones, match balls and training ladders have arrived. Many thanks to Gordon Ward for allowing us to borrow his nets this season.

STAFFORD RANGERS JUNIORS PRESENTATION NIGHT -4th May 2007

Unfortunately we will be unable to attend the main Presentation at Stafford Rangers Club as we have a clash of dates and are away on Tour this year.

VANDANEL TRACKSUITS & T-SHIRTS

We have ordered the tracksuits and t-shirts with the Rangers badge for the lads to wear on Tour and for Presentations etc. Many thanks to Stafford Rangers for their help with the purchasing of these. They have now arrived!

 STAFFORD RANGERS MASCOT - 17th February 2007

  Josh Oldham was mascot at Stafford Rangers match against Halifax . He won this as a prize in the Xmas raffle. Stafford Rangers kindly helped his fellow team mates to also attend the match and support him. Many thanks Rangers.Please view photo page to see a photo of many of the lads attending the match.

  MID STAFFS LEAGUE RAFFLE TICKETS

  Please can all raffle tickets sold / unsold please be returned as soon as possible, Selling these will mean that we do not have to pay next season's League Registration fee.

 TESCO SPORTS VOUCHERS

  Stafford Rangers Stripes U11s  managed to collect over 4,500 sports vouchers which has enabled us to have goalnets,training equipement and 7 match balls. A great many thanks to everyone who helped to collect them, especially Bert & Sue, and Elaine for organising it.
